I moved to Park City at a very young age and have been fortunate to witness, and be a part of, all of the growth and changes the years have brought. My proudest achievement is being the mother to three wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren.

As a skiing enthusiast, I have great passion for the sport, and am proud to be one, of only two women in the world to hold a FIS Freestyle Skiing Technical Delegates License.

Growing up and working in Park City for over four decades, as well as, watching and embracing all the changes, has given me a unique perspective.

Years ago when I was old enough to get my first car, I was thinking, "I'll get a Mustang, or a Camero, or maybe even a brand new Thunderbird."However, my Dad, Dave Novelle, talked me into getting a big blue Station Wagon just like the one he had. And that is how we began Park City Transportation. Our two blue Station Wagons.

As the owner and co founder of Park City Transportation, I am very proud to say we are now celebrating our 40th Anniversary.

Park City Transportation has also grown with our community. We now have over 30 Black cars and 50 ten passenger vans. Park City Transportation belongs to Park City Area Lodging Association, Ski Utah, Meeting Planners Incentive, Clean Cities of Utah and the National Limousine Association. We are a Charter member of the Park City Women's Business Network as well as the Park City Chamber and Visitors Bureau.

Being a part of the Park City Women's Business Network has given me the privilege and great opportunity to network with some of the most amazing powerful women I could ever imagine, including Bern Martinelli, the founder.

Park City Women's Business Network's annual Membership Mixer at Waldorf Astoria Park City on Tuesday, July 17, was a resounding success, with more than 60 women in attendance, and the addition of 10 new members to our roster.

We were grateful to have Park City Women's Business Network's annual Membership Mixer at Waldorf Astoria Park City on Tuesday, July 17, was a resounding success, with more than 60 women in attendance, and the addition of 10 new members to our roster.

We were grateful to have the chance to hear a 2012 Park City High School pcWBN scholarship recipient, and received many great suggestions from attendees, including a Career Day with local students leading into a mentoring program, a "moving" meeting/scavenger hunt with businesses on Main, more meetings where we break into groups, and doing something out of one's comfort zone, such as a cooking class. Wonderful ideas, and we welcome any more our members and guests might have by emailing pcwbn1@gmail.com.

Members and guests mixed and mingled while delicious hors d'oeuvres - courtesy of the Waldorf - were passed amid the luxe surroundings on silver trays. A few pcWBN board members spoke about the organization in general, communications, membership, our Fall Fashion Fundraiser, and the ever-expanding scholarship program.

We are grateful to our generous hosts, Jenna Boltz and Elsie Ruprecht of Waldorf Astoria Park City, for their gracious hospitality, and to Slopes by Talisker for the delicious hors d'oeuvres. We encourage pcWBN members to consider holding their next event at this stunning resort location.
