Enough!

That's the theme for April.

Come check out the Park City Television Studio, our hosts for the month of April!

Our Tent Talk presenter is Heather Elliott, Owner of PuraVida Lifestyle Salon & Spa. Get to know her better below, then come listen to her speak about what "enough" means to her on Tuesday.

In 2016, Heather Elliott found herself in search a new future. The 15-year realtor was recently divorced with four children to support when she moved to Park City. She immediately recognized a couple things: Park City has a lot of realtors and no Aveda salons. She decided to seize the opportunity and took the small amount of money she had, got a business loan, and opened Park City’s first Aveda-brand salon.

1. What inspired you to start your business?

I have been an Aveda guest for over 20 years. I love the product and the mission of Aveda. I moved to Park City and couldn’t find an Aveda salon in town, so I decided to take a leap of faith and leave real estate. I knew that Park City would receive the Aveda mission and our plant-based products just as I have.

2. What is one important life or business lesson you’ve learned along the way?

I try to approach conflict and obstacles from a circular perspective instead of a box. Boxes have corners. Circles are infinite and allow for infinite possible solutions.

3. Why do you think it’s important to connect with other woman?

Women are powerful. We create life. We hold all the bits together at home and at work. We need one another to hold each other up so we can be our best selves.

4. What are your top beauty secrets?

Aveda Tulasara Wedding Eye Masque, water, and sleep

5. Describe your perfect day in Park City.

Walking slowly on a sunny morning, having coffee on the front porch with my kittens. Letting the kids get up slowly and heading down to Sunday Silly Market for a stroll, music, and a bloody mary. Making our way home for a grill with friends and neighbors and making our way to the summer concert series in the park.  Perfection.
